Wow! What fantastic thank you notes and drawings 

I received from a class I visited two weeks ago. 

You are all so awesome, and I was totally 

impressed by your talent! 

ALL the notes were wonderful, and although 

I can't super-size every one, I chose three 

to highlight. Peter, Jackson, and Kiley - 

you may see something you recognize!

OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY...

Just got an email back from Midwestwhips about 

my recent order. Shouldn't be more than a couple 

of months before THIS baby arrives. 

An 8-foot bullwhip patterned after the one 

used in the most recent Indiana Jones film. 

I've wanted it for some time, and soon 

it will be mine! I'd better sign off now,

lest I short-circuit my keyboard 

with drool...

ROCK THE BLOCK PARTY

I grew up on a dead-end street, and we used to 

have these amazing block-parties. Kids would 

dress up in costume, soup up their bikes, and 

put on a parade for the parents - for prizes!

For copyright purposes, I've used Photoshop 

to erase the superhero insignia I wore on my 

chest. But if you're at all superhero-savvy, 

maybe you can figure out who I'm 

doubling for...

WOW! When I went to get my mail the other day,

little did I expect to find this amazing creature!

What an awesome way to do thank you notes: 

in the form of a BOOKWORM! Many thanks to all 

of the teachers and students (you know who you are)

who created it. I read every note, and was 

so impressed. You are all awesome!

I LOVE SCHOOL!

Wow, has it been a busy autumn! After reading to scores of 

schools and hundreds and hundreds of bright-eyed students, 

I figured I'd better do a blog post! Here's a wonderful group that 

I read to just yesterday. Great questions, wonderful enthusiasm! 

I promise I'll do some more posts real soon...
